The City of Maricopa has its own hospital: Exceptional Community Hospital - Maricopa, at 10960 N. John Wayne Pkwy., Maricopa, AZ 85139, which opened in December 2021 with a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient rooms, an in-house laboratory, and imaging including CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. Primary care, urgent care, dental, vision, and pharmacies operate in the city, and the large hospital systems of the Phoenix area are in the Valley. The hospital in Maricopa
Exceptional Community Hospital - Maricopa opened in December 2021 as the city's first hospital, on State Route 347 (John Wayne Parkway) south of the overpass. It is a licensed short-term acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, nine inpatient rooms, an in-house laboratory, an inpatient pharmacy, and a digital imaging suite with CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, and mobile MRI, plus telecardiology and hospitalist services. Phone: 520-534-0700. Before 2021, emergency care meant a trip to Chandler or Casa Grande; that is the change this facility made.
Primary care, urgent care, and pharmacies
Primary care practices, urgent care clinics, dental and vision offices, physical therapy, and retail pharmacies operate along the John Wayne Parkway corridor and elsewhere in the city. Which practices accept which plans changes often, so this site does not list them. The team hands buyers a current list at closing, and the association's calendar includes Medicare and health seminars.
Specialty care and the Valley hospitals
Specialty and tertiary care, including cardiac, oncology, and orthopedic centers and the large hospital systems, are in the Phoenix metropolitan area, reached by State Route 347 north to the Interstate 10 corridor. This site does not publish drive times, because they depend on time of day and destination.
Health resources inside Province
