How Does the Province Gate Work?

Province is a gated community with a gate house at the main entrance staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by the association's security vendor. Front and rear entrances are camera-monitored and four coded pedestrian gates serve the perimeter. Guests check in at the gate house, and each resident receives 40 guest passes a year for the amenities. Gate house: 520-532-4774.
The gate house
The main entrance on Province Parkway is controlled by a staffed gate house. The association contracts a security vendor whose team checks in visitors, patrols the community, and responds to reported concerns. Staff are on duty around the clock. Residents enter with a vehicle transponder issued by the association; the association sets the transponder policy and any related charges.
Guest entry
Visitors stop at the gate house and are checked in against the resident's instructions. Residents can call ahead to the gate house at 520-532-4774 to authorize a guest, a contractor, or a delivery. Procedures for recurring visitors and vendors are set by the association and published to residents.
Amenity guest passes
Entering the gate and using the amenities are separate. Each resident receives 40 guest passes a year for the Village Center, pools, and courts, with additional passes available for purchase at Resident Services. A guest must be accompanied by the resident to the desk to receive a day wristband. That policy is what allows Province to open its amenities to visiting family and friends while keeping them resident-first.
Pedestrian gates and cameras
Four coded pedestrian gates on the perimeter give residents walking and cycling access; the association describes the streets as well-lit with pathways designed for evening use. Front and rear vehicle entrances are camera-monitored. This page describes those features as the association states them; it makes no claim about crime or safety in Province or the City of Maricopa.
What it means for showings and moves
For sellers, every showing is a gate entry: the listing agent arranges access through the gate house, which is one reason Province listings are managed rather than left to a lockbox alone. For buyers, plan on gate check-in for movers, contractors, and out-of-town family, and ask about transponders at closing. The community summary is the Province overview; the buying and selling steps are on the buy page and the sell page.
